µονος ν νόµισµα καὶ εἰς ἀλλήλων ἀσφάλειαν τοῦτο ποιούµεθα τὸ γράµµα, ἀκύρου ὄντος τοῦ προτέρου τοῦ παρὰ Ἰωάννῃ Μηρ ὄντος εἰ εἶχεν περὶ τοῦ υἱοῦ αὐτοῦ. Φλάουιος Γεώργιος γραµµατεὺς ἔγραψα ὑπὲρ αὐτῶν εἰπόντων µοιμι καὶ ἐσωµάτισα. εἰ δὲ πωλῶν γῄδιά τινά τις συγκοινωνήσῃσυνκοινωνήσῃυνκοινωνήσῃ ἢ λάβῃ οἰνάριόνοἰνάριν τι παρὰ τοῦ ὠνουµένου, διδόναι αὐτὸν τὴν εἰρηµένην καταδίκην τοῦ νοµίσµατος.Translations (1)
Alone we make this letter for mutual security, the former agreement with John the Myrrh-bearer being nullified if he had concerning his son. Flavius Georgios, the scribe, wrote this on their behalf as they told me, and I inscribed it. If someone agrees or takes any certain lands or a vineyard from the buyer, let him pay the aforementioned fine of the coin.
