Σεραπιὰς τοῖς τέκνοις Πτολεμαίῳ καὶ Ἀπολιναρίᾳ καὶ Πτολεμαίῳ πλεῖστα χαίρειν. πρὸ μὲν πάντων εὔχομαι ὑμᾶςἡμᾶς ὑγιαίνεινὑγιαίνιν, ὅ μοι πάντων ἐστὶν ἀναγκαιότερονἀνανκαιότερον. τὸ προσκύνημα ὑμῶνἡμῶν ποιῶ παρὰ τῷ κυρίῳ Σεράπιδι, εὐχομένη ὑμᾶςἡμᾶς ὑγιαίνονταςὑγιαίνοντες ἀπολαβεῖν, ὡς εὔχομαι ἐπιτετυχόταςἐπιτετευχότας. ἐχάρην κομισαμένη γράμματα, ὅτι καλῶς διεσώθητε. ἀσπάζου Ἀμμωνοῦν σὺν τέκνοις καὶ συνβίῳσυμβίῳ καὶ τοὺς φιλοῦντάς σε πάνταςπάντες. ἀσπάζεταί ὑμᾶςἡμᾶς Κυρίλλα καὶ ἡ θυγάτηρ Ἑρμίας Ἑρμίας, Ἑρμανοῦβις ἡ τροφός, Ἀθηναΐς ἡ δέσκα λος, Κυρίλλα, Κασία, μνις, Σανος, Ἔμπις, οἱ ἐνθάδε πάντες ἐρωτηθεὶς οὖν περὶ σὲ ὃπρᾶγμα πράσσειςπράσσις γράφεγράψαιγράψε μοι, εἰδὼς ὅτι, ἐὰν γράμματά σου λάβω, ἱλαρά εἰμι περὶ τῆς σωτηρίας ὑμῶνἡμῶν ἐρρῶσθαι ὑμᾶςἡμᾶς εὔχομαι. ἀπόδος Πτολεμαίῳ ἀδελφῷ Ἀπολιναρίας. ἀπόδος ΠτολεμαίῳΠτολεμαίῳ τῷ τέκνῳ. ἀσπάζουTranslations (1)
Serapias grüßt ihre Kinder Ptolemaios, Apolinaria und Ptolemaios herzlichst. Vor allem erflehe ich, daß es euch gut gehe; und das ist mir wichtiger als alles; ich bete auch für euch zum Herrn Serapis und flehe zu ihm, daß es euch wohl ergehe Sehr gefreut habe ich mich über die Nachricht, daß ihr glücklich davon gekommen seid. Grüße den Ammonus mit Frau und Kindern und alle, die dich lieb haben. Euch grüßt Kyrilla und die Tochter des Hermias, Hermias, Hermanûbis, die Amme, Athenais, die Lehrerin , Kyrilla, Kasia , S anos, Empis, alle die hier sind. Antworte mir nun auf meine Frage und schreibe mir, was Du machst ; denn du weißt, wie sehr ich mich über gute Nachricht von euch freue. Lebt wohl.
