μονοκυσι κάλλιστόν ἐστιν αὐτοὺς δικαιοδοτεῖν πρὸς τοὺς Αἰγυπτίων νόμους ἐφʼ οἷς ἔξεστι καὶ μεταδιατίθεσθαι. καλῶς δι έθετο ὁ τελευτήσας. ἔτους ιβ θεοῦ Τραιανοῦ Παχὼν ιγ. Ἄρειος καὶ Σαραπίων ἀμφότεροι Πτολεμαίου πρὸς Ἀθηνόδωρον καὶ Ἀπολλώνιον· ἐκ τῶν ῥηθέντων· Σουλπίκιος Σίμιλις πυθόμενος Ἀρτεμιδώρου τοῦ ἐξη γουμένου τοὺς νόμους περὶ τοῦ πράγματος καὶ συνλαλήσας τοῖς συμβούλοις ἔφη· Αἰγύ πτιος εἶχεν ἐξουσίαν καθὼς βούλεται διαθέσθαι. ἔτους θεοῦ Τραιανοῦ Τῦβι κ ἐπὶ τῶν κατὰ Τρύφωνα πρὸς Διδ μεθʼ ἕτερα· Σουλπίκιος Σίμιλις συνλαλήσας τοῖς συνβούλοις καὶ ἀνακοινωσαμένος Ἀρτεμιδώρῳ νομικῷ ἔφη· λέγεται ονε οὔτε ἡ γυνὴ ἐφʼ ἧς καινότερόν τι συνεφώνησεν ὁ πατὴρ τοῦ γαμοῦντος οὔτε οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτῆς περίεισι οἷς ἐδύνατο κατέχεσθαι τὰ κατὰ τὴν συμφωνίαν, ἄκυρόν ἐστιν ἤδη τοῦτο τὸ γράμμα. ὁ δὲ νόμος ὡς λέ γεται δίδωσιν ἐξουσίαν τῶι τὸ πανπράσιον οἰκονομή σαντιωκονομησαντι καὶ κατασχόντα τοῖς τέκνοις τὰ ἴδια ἐκλέ ξασθαι ἐξ αὐτῶν ἕνα καὶ κληρονόμων ποιῆσαι. οὐκουν παραπεσούσης τῆς δευτέρας ἀσφαλείας εἰς τὴν προ τέραν ἀνέκαμψεν τὸ δίκαιον. ἐξῆν αὐτῶ ὡς ἐβούλετο διαθέσθαι κληρονόμους καταλιπόντι τοὺς παῖδας αὐ τοῦ ἐφʼ οἷς ἐποιήσατο τὸ πανπράσιον.Connections
