ΣερᾶςΣεραπίων Ἀρείστωνι χαίρειν. ἔπεμψά σοι κατέβησαν οἱ τ καὶ ἀπῆλθαν καὶ ὅλον τὸ δραχμὰς ἓξ ἐσχηκότες καὶ λέγοντες ὅτι‧ ὅσον θέλεις ἀργύριονἀργυρίου λαβέ. πληρώσω σοι τὸ ὅλον τῆς τιμῆς. ἐγὼ οὐκ εἴασαἔασαἐάσα αὐ τοὺς ἀναβῆναι σήμερον,. ἥ ἐστιν η .θ, λοιπὸν παρα κληθεὶς σχέθητι τῇἔχειν τῆι θ ὄρθρου πρὶν αὐτοὺς ἀνα βῆναι τελέσαι,τελεῖον. μὴ ἀφῇςἅψῃς μῶμον. ἐγὼ δὲ σὺν αὐτοῖς ἀναβήσομαι. μὴ οὖν λη ρήσῃς. ἔρρωσο.Translations (1)
SerasSerapion to Areiston, greetings. I sent to you, they came down and went away, and having obtained a total of six drachmas, saying: "Take as much silver as you want. I will pay you the full amount." I did not permit them to go up today, being the [...] remaining, having been invited, hold on to having the ninth hour of dawn before they go up, to complete. Do not let any blemish touch. I will go up with them. Do not therefore delay. Farewell.
