In the fifth year of the reign of Emperor Caesar Titus Aelius Hadrianus Antoninus Augustus Pius, in the month of Mesore 4, Caesarius 4, in Karanis of the Heracleides division of the Arsinoite nome. Petesuchos son of Kameis, about fifty years old, with a scar on the shin, and Kameis his son, about twenty-four years old, with a scar on the left side, agree with each other to separate (from their partnership) from now on in so far as their agriculture remains for (an agreed) period. Each shall hold lands: Petesuchos in the portion of Karanis of the royal shore, five arouras, and similarly in Ptolemais in the place called Istrin, one aroura, and around Patsontis of the royal land, formerly Panas', fourteen arouras on the sixteenth line, and likewise Kameis the son in the part assigned to him of Karanis of the royal shore, together with the leased five arouras, of (Ptolemais) revenues, two and sixteen arouras on the sixty-fourth line, and around Patsontis of the former Panas land, fourteen arouras on the sixteenth line. They both pledge upon the entire arouras, each to maintain what they have acquired and to manage all that belongs to them publicly and privately, interchanging (documentation) through their office. Kameis saying: "I have detached from (my father) Petesuchos and each holds his own in (land) revenues near Ptolemais," revenues of two-twelve and sixty-fourth aroura.
