ΔεῖοςΔ Πτολεμαίῳ τῷ τιμιω τάτῳ πλεῖστα χαίρειν. πρὸ μὲν πάντων εὔχομαί σε ὑγιαίνειν μετὰ τῶν σῶν πάντων. τὸ προσκύνημά σου ποιῶ κα θʼ ἑκάστην ἡμέραν παρὰ τῷ κυρίῳ Σαράπιδι. παρακληθείςπαρακλήσεισ, κύριέ μου ἄδελφε, λαβὼν τὰ γράμματα Σερήνου τοῦ νομι κοῦνομεικοῦ πρὸς Σερῆνον γενέσθαι, ἵναεἵνα ἀπολάβῃς τὴν τιμὴν τοῦ βάρ δου πρόδικονπρκον ὃςὣςὡσ ἠγόρασται δηναρίων ξε ἀπὸ δραχμῶν το καὶ αὐ τὸς πέπεισταιπέπισται τῆ τιμῇ, ἧς ἔ μελλον αὐτὸ πωλεῖνπωλῖν, καὶ Τιβέ ρις δυ πέπεισταιπέπισται ὑπὸ Σερήνου, ὅτι ἐμοῦ ἐστιν ὁ βάρδος, καὶ ἔ μαθεν περὶ τῆς ἐπιστολῆς τῆς γραφείσηςγραφεισα ὑπὸ Σερήνου. τὸν ἀδελφόν μου σὺν σοὶσὺ δέξαιδέξε καὶ λαβὼν τὴν τιμὴν τῇ μη τρί μου ἀποκατάστησον ἢ τὸ εἶδος, ἐὰν δὲ μὴ λάβῃς τὰ γράμ ματα Σερήνου παρὰ σοὶ ἤτωη τω ἀσπάζομαι ὑμᾶς πάνταςπάντες κατʼ ὄνομα καὶ Ὠριγένης ὑμᾶς ἀσπάζεταιἀσπάζετε πάνταςπάντες. ἐρρῶσθαί σε εὔχομαι εὐτυχοῦντα. DeiosD to Ptolemaios the most honored, many greetings. First of all, I pray that you are in good health together with all your [family]. I make your obeisance each day before the lord Serapis.
