Wegen der fehlenden einen Artabe , drangen nun, als ich auf dem Feld war, die Einnehmer der Getreidesteuer Petesis , Sohn des Tkelô, und Sarapiôn, Sohn des Marôn, und ihr Schreiber Ptolemaios mitsamt dem Gehilfen Ammôn[i]os in mein Haus ein, nahmen meiner Mutter das himation weg und trieben sie mit Fußtritten [hinaus] . [Da sie] deswegen [bettlägrig] geworden ist [und] nicht kann, ersuche ich hiermit darum, daß sie Dir [vorgeführt werden], damit ich von Dir Gerechtigkeit erfahre. Lebe wohl. On account of the one remaining artaba the collectors of grain taxes , Petesis , son of Tkelo, and Sarapion, son of Maron, and their scribe, Ptolemaios, with their assistant, Ammon[i]os, as well, came up and into my house, while I was in the field, and snatched the himation away from my mother and drove her out with kicks . Since, therefore, she is confined to her bed as a result of this [and] is unable to , I request that they [be brought] before you, so that I receive justice from you. Farewell.
