Mante[n]nius Sabinus grüßt die Strategen der 7 Gaue und des Arsinoïtês. Ich habe angeordnet, eine Abschrift des von mir an das glänzendste Alexandria gesendeten Erlasses unten anzufügen, damit Ihr alle es wißt und an einer gleichen Zahl von Tagen Feste veranstaltet. Ich wünsche, daß es Euch gut geht. Im 1. Jahr des Imperator Caesar Publius Hel[vi]us Pertinax Augustus, am 10. Phamenôth. Abschrift des Erlasses. Daß Ihr Feste veranstaltet zur glücklichsten Herrschaft unseres Herren, des Imperator Publius He[lviu]s Pertinax Augustus, princeps sanctissimae senatus , Vater des Vaterlandes , und des Publius H[elviu]s [P]ertinax, [seines] Sohnes, und der F[l]avia Titiana Augusta, geziemt sich, Männer von Alexandria, indem Ihr mit der gesamten Bürgerschaft opfert und betet für (seine) ewige Herrschaft und (sein) ganzes Haus und Euch bekränzt fünfzehn Tage lang, beginnend mit dem heutigen Tag.

It is fitting that you celebrate festivals for the most fortunate accession of our lord, Imperator Publius He[lviu]s Pertinax Augustus, princeps of the holy senate , father of his country , and of Publius H[elviu]s [P]ertinax, [his] son, and of F[l]avia Titiana Augusta, O men of Alexandria, offering sacrifices in full assembly and prayers on behalf of his lasting empire and all his house and wearing garlands for fifteen days beginning from today.
