Ayant saisi l’occasion du messager, j’ai cru devoir vous écrire, pour me prosterner et saluer la trace bénie des pieds bénis de mon bon maître, ainsi que tous les frères très aimés de Dieu qui habitent avec mon bon maître, et je prie mon maître de se souvenir de mon humble personne dans les prières toutes saintes et efficaces de mon bon maître, jusqu’à ce que Dieu me juge digne aussi de me prosterner en personne aux pieds de mon bon maître. Car je ne cesse, jour et nuit, de prier le Christ notre Maître pour le salut et la préservation de mon bon maître, et de tous ceux qui aiment mon maître dans le Seigneur. Phamenoth 2, indiction 2.
