O Unas, beware of the lake! Recite four times. The messages of your Ka come to you; the messages of your father come to you; the messages of Re come to you: Go to your sun and cleanse yourself. Your bones are those of the divine falconesses that are in the sky. You shall be at the side of the god. You shall leave your house to your son, your descendant (?). Whoever speaks ill of Unas' name when he comes forth, Geb has designated him as a poor man in his city, so that he retreats and turns away. You shall cleanse yourself in the water of the stars (?), or: in the (heavenly) water region? You will descend on bronze ropes, on Horus' arms in his name "He who is in the $ḥnw$-bark." The $ḥnmm.t$ people will cry out for you, after the Non-Setting Ones (circumpolar stars) have lifted you up. Ascend to the place where your father is, to the place where Geb is. May he give you what is on Horus' forehead, so that you may be ba-powerful, so that you may have power, so that you may be at the forefront of the Westerners.
O Unas, hüte dich vor dem See! Viermal rezitieren. Die Botschaften deines Kas kommen zu dir; die Botschaften deines Vaters kommen zu dir; die Botschaften des Re kommen zu dir: Geh nach deiner Sonne und reinige dich doch. Deine Knochen sind die (der) göttlichen Falkenweibchen, die im Himmel sind. Du sollst an der Seite des Gottes sein. Du sollst dein Haus deinem Sohn überlassen, deinem Nachkommen(?). Jeder, der schlecht über Unas' Namen reden wird, wenn er hervorkommt, Geb hat ihn als einen Armen in seiner Stadt bestimmt, so daß er zurückweicht und sich abwendet. Du sollst dich im Wasser der Sterne (?, oder: im (Himmels-)Wassergebiet ?) reinigen. Du wirst auf ehernen Seilen hinabsteigen, auf Horus' Armen in seinem Namen "Der in der $ḥnw$-Barke ist". Die $ḥnmm.t$-Menschen werden deinetwegen aufschreien, nachdem die Nicht-Untergehenden (Zirkumpolarsterne) dich hochgehoben haben werden. Steige doch empor zu dem Ort, wo dein Vater ist, zu dem Ort, wo Geb ist. Möge er dir das geben, was an Horus' Stirn ist, damit du dadurch ba-mächtig bist, damit du dadurch Macht hast, damit du dadurch an der Spitze der Westlichen bist.
