ὑπατείας Φλαουίων Ἀµαντίου καὶ Ἀλβίνου τῶν λαµπροτάτων Αὐρήλιος λος Πεκυσίου ἀπὸ κώµης Σαραπίωνος Χαιρήµονος ε πάγου τοῦ ὈξυρυγχίτουὈξυρυγχείτου νοµοῦ Αὐρηλίῳ Πασίωνι Ὡρίωνος βουλευτῇ τῆς λαµπρᾶς καὶ λαµπροτάτης ὈξυρυγχιτῶνὈξυρυγχειτῶν πόλεως χαίρειν. ὁµολογῶ ἐσχηκέναι καὶ παραµεµετρῆσθαι παρὰ σοῦ ἐν χρήσειχρήσι σίτου µὲν ἀρτάβηςἀρτάβας ἥµισυ τέταρτον γίνεται ἀρτάβης 𐅵δ καί κριθῆς ἀρτάβας τὰ πάντα κεφαλαίου ἅπερ σῖτον καὶ κριθὴν γένη νέα καθαρὰ ἄδολα κεκοσκινευµένα ἐπάναγκες ἀποδώσω σοι τῷ µηνὶ τοῦ ἐνεστῶτος ἔτους κβ ιγ ἄνευ πάσης ὑπερθέσεως καὶ εὑρησιλογίας, εἰ δὲ µή, ἐκτείσω σοιTranslations (1)
During the consulate of the most illustrious Flavius Amantius and Albinus, Aurelius, son of Pakysios from the village of Sarapion in the district of Oxyrhynchus, to Aurelius Pasion, son of Horion, councilor of the distinguished and most illustrious city of the Oxyrhynchites, greetings. I acknowledge that I have received and measured out from you a loan of grain amounting to one half-fourth, equaling [...] artabae, and barley artabae in total principal, of which the grain and barley are of a new pure unadulterated [kind] sifted and will be delivered to you without delay within the month of the current year 22, 13, without any objection or protest, and if not, I will compensate you.
