To Apion Sarapion, strategos of the Heracleides division of the Arsinoite nome, from Tarmouthis, son of Phimon, a vegetable seller from the village of Bacchiadae, presently having no guardian. On the fourth day of the current month of Pharmouthi, without any matter against me, Taorsenouphis, wife of Ammonius, also known as Phimon the elder, of the village of Bacchiadae, approached my house irrationally and assaulted and stripped me of my tunic and pallium, not only this, but she also took from my house the clothes I had put aside, valued at 16 drachmas of vegetables sold. And on the fifth of the same month, her husband Ammonius, also known as Phimon, came to my house under the pretense of looking for my husband. Seizing my lamp, he ascended into my house and took a pair of silver earrings weighing 40 drachmas, belonging to my husband, who was away.
