"[Re-heqa-achti, who rejoices in the horizon] in his name Re, the father, who has come as Aton" (=Aton), who gives life forever and ever, the king of Upper and Lower Egypt, lord of the Two Lands, Nefer-cheperu-Re-wa-en-Re; the son of Re, lord of the crowns, Akhenaten, who is great in his time. The great royal wife, Nefertiti, may she live forever and ever. [Praise] to you, O living [Aton]! When you rise, you give life to those you have created, for they live through the sight of your rays, while you give your lifespan in years to the king of Upper and Lower Egypt, who lives by Maat, lord of the Two Lands, Nefer-cheperu-Re-wa-en-Re, to whom life forever is given. (By) Mahu, the justified. [Praise] to you, O living Aton, exalted god, beloved, who has begotten himself and who has been born of himself! May you give the south and the north to your son, who has come forth from your body, the son of Re, who lives by Maat, lord of the crowns, Akhenaten, who is great in his time. (By) Mahu, the justified.
